Satan’s Six

    (Topps, 1993)
™ and ©1993 Jack Kirby

The Satan’s Six are a group of people (and monsters) trapped in limbo, qualifying neither for a place in Heaven nor Hell. The pack consists of Brian Bluedragon, an errant knight whose service King Arthur refused; Dezira, a would-be temptress; Hard Luck Harrigan, a gambler; Kuga “the Lion Killer” a seemingly fierce warrior who secretly loves animals; and Frightful, a demon who is sent from Hell to chaperone the others. These six go to Earth in order to qualify for a place in Hades. After all, nothing’s worse than sitting around in Limbo all your afterlife!

Satan’s Six is a rather silly series from the master of adventure, Jack Kirby. Fans of the King won’t want to miss the series’ backup story, Wolff & Byrd, Counselors of the Macabre, a hilarious, supernatural take on the problems with lawyers.
