Predator: Hell Come a Walkin’
(Dark Horse, 1998)
™ and ©1998 Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation
It was September, 1863 in the Ozark Mountains near the Missouri-Arkansas border. It was the darkest days of the Civil War, and things were to grow much darker before morning.
A Confederate outpost had been slaughtered by some beast which took their heads as trophies. A small squad that had come to rendezvous found the carnage that remained. They were looking for blood when they spotted the trailing members of a Yankee party that fell behind while hauling a stuck cannon through the mud. The two sides engaged, and soon there were only three men on each side remaining—most wishing they could just sneak away in the darkness.
Then a Confederate soldier saw the Predator who had been hunting them. And before long the enemies decided to join forces in a vain hope of surviving to see the morning.
