Hellina is a former cultist who now wears a leather bikini, thigh-high boots, and brandishes a whip and dagger in the name of justice. Her goal is to stop Satan and his minions from corrupting any more innocents. While investigating the brutal slaughter of several people at the hands of cultists, she runs afoul of Perg. Perg, a demon, was the pawn in a deal between God and Lucifer, and was sentenced to serve 500 years of life on Earth. Generally, he is held captive by unbreakable bonds. But, “Everyday…at the stroke of midnight…I am unleashed to cleanse EVIL from the souls of the WEAK!” This cleansing is accomplished by shoving a dagger through the foreheads of the aforementioned weak one.

It comes as no real surprise that the two are somewhat misunderstood as they go about their noble quests. In this special, they even do battle with each other—continued in Hellina: Kiss of Death #1.
