After several generations, clumps of people have scattered across North America rebuilding civilization on top of the ruins of the old. But society is slow to learn the lessons from history—after his village is wiped out by a band of merciless raiders, a young boy named Jeremiah sets out on a quest for vengeance. And thus is the great tragedy destined to be played out all over again!
