As this 1992 mini-series begins, danger once again threatens the realm of Elfheim. King Hawk Erickson and his elven warriors have recently been under attack from troll raiders. Each time, the trolls were found digging for something…but what?

The answer comes from deep inside the troll lands. There a beautiful but depraved sorceress called Cloudshadow has been forcing captured elves to dig tunnels through the earth. At last, they find their prize: the severed head of Ravenclaw. This hideous troll had been Cloudshadow’s lover until King Erickson lopped his head off in battle. However, with the proper magics and elf sacrifices, Cloudshadow would raise Ravenclaw from the dead…and Elfheim would face its darkest hour.
