Libby Ellis (Eternity)

    (Eternity, 1988)
™ and ©1988 Norm Dwyer and Dennis Pimple

The second Libby Ellis series picks up the roving adventures of the motorcycle-straddling heroine from where it left off in the original 1987 mini-series. Created by Norm Dwyer, Libby seems an early precursor of Barb Wire—essentially a leather-clad, Harley-driving babe who uses guts, attitude, and the occasional firearm to survive in a future America. This mini-series is part anthology, telling of Libby’s encounters with various odd characters as she makes her way across America. A backup story by Dennis Pimple and John McColloch weaves a less-than-convincing tale of a rocker and a missing magical guitar.
