Here’s what you need to know about Zen: he’s young, he’s blue, he has no mouth, and he’s an intergalactic ninja in training. Oh, and he’s in trouble. Noticing Zen is letting his emotions turn to violence, his masters send him to visit the bustling metropolis of New Yang City. There’s only one catch; Zen is forbidden to use or threaten violence while he is there. Since trouble follows Zen wherever he goes, this turns out to be a problem. As soon as he steps foot in New Yang, Zen is accosted by various roustabouts, including muggers, corrupt police, and a group of angry supervillains. Even the local super group, the Def Cru, is no match for the evil brigands. Forced to bite his tongue and sit on the sidelines, a hero like Zen is incapable of inaction for long. His creative solution to this dilemma, while still keeping his vow, is the crux of this story.
