Long before Chris Claremont appropriated the name “Morlocks” for the subterranean outcasts led by Callisto in X-Men, the name referred to a much more malevolent tribe in H.G. Wells’ classic novel, “The Time Machine.” The book became a movie starring Rod Taylor in 1960 and is also considered a classic. Now Bill Spangler, (Alien Nation, Robotech II: The Mechangel) with artist John Ross, (The Argonauts), bring this tale of the effect of technology on the human race to comics in this 3-issue series.
