Classic Star Wars: Han Solo at Stars’ End

    (Dark Horse, 1997)
™ and ©1997 Lucasfilm Ltd.

This mini-series takes place just prior to the events of the first Star Wars movie. It gives readers new background on the roguish smuggler Han Solo and his wookie companion Chewbacca.

Fleeing from Imperial ships who sought to intercept him on a smuggling run, Han sought refuge on an out-of-the-way planet. There, he sought out an old “friend,” Jessa, who had the facilities to help repair his ship.

But Han would have to pay handsomely for her help. Jessa’s father had been taken captive by the Authority (the local corporate rulers), and Han would have to aid in effecting his escape. To do this, Han was to deliver a robot to a band of rebels with the aim of raiding a local data complex and learning her father’s location. Unfortunately for Han, one of the “rebels” was actually a traitor and spy!
