The Federation Kingdom and the United Empire have been at war for centuries, neither side ever achieving a decisive victory, the reasons for the war having long been forgotten. Katsuwo Nakane’s story follows four soldiers from these two warring factions who’ve been shipwrecked together on a backwater planet whose inhabitants are technologically primitive. As the crew is seduced by the antiquated, yet easy-going, lifestyle of the culture, they are left to wonder if they’d be better off not going back to war at all.
