The heroes of this black-and-white title are Alligator Aussie—a tough-talking koala bear who wields a pretty mean bullwhip; Punishment—a trenchcoat-wearing gorilla who handles problems with his big, hairy fists; and Katnip—a Wolverine-inspired, feline anti-hero-type who rips away with his claws and asks questions later. The team, deliberately misspelling “heroes” as if to create their own trademark, takes on the nefarious Kingpig, a master criminal whose organization has the city in a stranglehold. But what chance does even he have against heroes of such an impressive pedigree?
