Spiral Zone

    (DC, 1988)
™ and ©1987 Tonka Corp.

In 2007, the evil scientist Overlord took command of a NASA vessel and used it to launch a mad plot to take over the world. He deployed several “zone generators” which emitted a mysterious energy in a spiral pattern across half the Earth. All humans in the zone had their will sapped and became mindless slaves of Overlord.

The countries of the world were powerless to stop Overlord and his minions, the Evil Black Widows. But they did manage to craft five armored suits of Neutron-90 which allow them to fight Overlord within the spiral zone. Led by commander Dirk Courage, this team is the world’s last hope for freedom.

A four-issue mini-series, this title was based on a line of toys from Tonka.
