Set in Tokyo in 2014 after a devastating earthquake, Midnight Eye stars Gokü, a private investigator who loses his left eye. He is then given a new eyeball with a tiny computer interface, one than enables him to invade every computer on the planet. With the addition of a stick that can stretch to any length, Goku first takes his revenge on the crime syndicate he had been fighting. Creator Buichi Terasawa’s manga was eventually adapted into a popular anime.
