Okay, you’re an android from the 853rd century, and you’re programmed with the memories of Rex Tyler, the Golden Age Hourman. After nearly destroying the universe in the DC One Million limited series, settling down in your past—somewhere around the turn of the 21st century—and giving up a good portion of your chronal powers, you decide that you dearly want to be as human as possible. So to whom do you turn for help? Why, former Justice League of America mascot Snapper Carr, that’s who! Sure, he’s something of a loser, but he needs a purpose in life and it may as well be you.

This is a fun, imaginative super-hero series—certainly one of the best to come out of the late 1990s. Hourman struggles to gain humanity, and it’s a thrill to watch him take on such foes as Amazo, the JLAndroids, Epoch the Lord of Time, and his own makers in the 853rd century.
