The Fly (Archie)

During his youth, Thomas Troy could change into the super-hero Fly simply by rubbing a special ring. Doing so, he actually exchanged places with a fly-person from an alternate dimension, though he was fully aware of what was happening in time in his own dimension. His powers faded as he grew to adulthood and he took to battling evil in another way, as a lawyer fighting crime in the courts. Then one night, an old colleague from the fly dimension gave him back his powers, since the law had not been able to overcome injustice.

So now, together with his sidekick, Fly Girl, he fights crime on the streets again. He has all the powers a human-sized and-shaped fly would have. He can fly, walk up the sides of buildings, and stun criminals with a well-aimed shot from his buzz gun. Now if only he can avoid his arch-enemy, career hoodlum Spider Spry…
