Silverblade

The English refer to “the California Disease” of wanting to be young forever. For Jonathan Lord, aging actor, that could not have been more true. Once a leading man in dozens of movies, he was now a bitter old man, whiling away his final years in his palatial “Shangri-La” estate and rhapsodizing over his early years.

Then he encountered a strange statuette of the Maltese Falcon which suddenly came to life. It offered to roll back the years for Jonathan if he would do one or two favors for it. Thus Jonathan became thirty again, while simultaneously being recruited as a “Silverblade,” the falcon’s paladin against the occult forces of evil. In addition to his restored youth, Jonathan now had the ability to transform into any character he had ever played on film. This could get rather interesting when he turned into Dracula (and the opposing side managed to find a wooden stake!).
