The 3 Geeks

Fresh from their appearance in How to Pick up Girls If You’re a Comic Book Geek, Allen, Jim, and Keith returned for this three-issue series. These three geeks are a playful stereotype of the fanboy that lurks within us all: the creature who hordes comics, turns into putty around beautiful women, and has an almost religious awe of their favorite comic book creators.

Although they may be oddballs to the world at large, here they are in their element as they head out to a big comic convention (resembling nothing so much as the San Diego Comic-Con). Rich and Sandy Koslowski excel at poking fun at the excesses of comic fandom while keeping the overall tone friendly and engaging.
