This trade paperback boasts a gorgeous Brian Bolland (Batman: The Killing Joke) cover that features Clark Kent, Barry Allen, Hal Jordan, John Jones, and Bruce Wayne sharing memories under a portrait of their alter egos: Superman, The Flash, Green Lantern, the Martian Manhunter, and Batman—whose origin stories comprise the better part of this collection. (The origin of the Justice League of America is included, too.) The Batman origin story is the only new piece in the book—an updated take on the tale by Denny O’Neil (The Shadow) and Dick Giordano (Jonni Thunder aka Thunderbolt), while the other stories are reprints from the Secret Origins series and The Man of Steel limited series.
