PvP

This series, which began as (and continues to be) a daily internet strip, takes a comical look inside the inner workings of a gaming magazine. The book is original and funny, and the believable characters should strike a chord with hard-core and casual gamers alike. Even the office’s mythical monster, a friendly blue guy named Skull, has a personality that allows the reader to accept his presence in an otherwise “real “setting.

The characters do let their games, and imaginations, get out of control once in a while, though. Sometimes their super-hero personas take over, or the entire office gets revamped in manga-style decor.

PvP is a computer gaming term that means “Player vs. Player,” referring to any game where a person faces another human opponent and not a computer-generated foe.
