Chick Magnet

    (Voluptuous, 1998)
™ and ©1998 Anthony Vukojevich

The Chick Magnet is Moriarty Carbunkle, a down-on-his luck, late-night talk show host who has been reduced to spewing bad poetry on open-mike nights. His former on-air sidekick, Caffeine Boy, murdered one of his guests and has vowed to escape from prison and kill the Chick Magnet. Tough life, eh? Different, to be sure. In the middle of all of this, Boo Atticus—an amalgamation of names from Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird—comes back into Carbunkle’s life, still garbed in extraordinarily tight Catholic schoolgirl attire and seeking sexual gratification. “Dedicated to Catholic schoolgirls all around this beautiful world,” Chick Magnet is the brainchild of Anthony Jukovavich, whose artwork is somewhat reminiscent of the underground comics of the 1960s and 1970s; it is definitely for mature readers.
