In Tales from the Aniverse, Varcel and her Vixens sought fourtune and power, with Varcel weilding her enchanted sword Xaies. This mini-series features their origins.

Varcel must pass the tests of a powerful sorcerer to become his swordbearer. The core of the test is to locate the Polyod. Not knowing what the artifact is, or looks like, the Vixens soon learn they have competition in their quest.

Searching the ruins where the polyod is likely kept is a difficult task. Ruins are a place of ancient magics and mysteries. Zombies are just one of the dangers. Friend and foe will become confused as Varcel discovers the truth of the Polyod, and what being swordbearer truly means.
