The Flash: Iron Heights

Ostensibly the story of a viral outbreak in Keystone City’s new maximum security prison, this prestige format one-shot is also a nice segue into the new Flash universe. Besides a new look for Keystone City, there are hooks in the Wally/Linda relationship and the introduction of new villains for the improved “Rogue’s Gallery” group.

Like Arkham Asylum and the Slab, Iron Heights’ metahuman criminal population is a powder keg waiting to blow and when a killer disease is unleashed, havoc breaks out (along with a few inmates). Wally and Piper investigate what is sure to be a reoccurring stage for events
