Marmalade Boy Comic

™ and ©2001 Mixx Entertainment Inc.

Wataru Yoshizumi’s Marmalade Boy twists “shojo” clichés in its warped, comical look at family life and forbidden love. “Shojo” is the Japanese word for girl’s comics, and Marmalade Boy is told from the point-of-view of Miki, a girl whose life becomes tangled like a pretzel when her parents swap partners with another couple. Even worse, Miki finds herself attracted to her new stepbrother as she continues to heal her broken heart over another boy. Tokyopop published five issues of Marmalade Boy before continuing and concluding the series in paperback collections.
