Justice: Four Balance

Vance Astrovik is Justice, a relatively new member of the New Warriors. His powers are primarily telekinetic, and he is able to use his mind to do everything from flying to shielding himself from bullets and microwave radiation. What makes this character most interesting, however, is his troubled childhood—the ghosts of which he is still dealing with today.

In this four-issue limited series, Justice must solve the murder of a runaway girl. The girl was Allison Gaulthing, daughter of a multi-billionaire industrialist. She seemed to have everything you could want in life, but something drove her to drugs, the streets, and then to an ill-fated rooftop leap. In pursuing the cause of Allison’s demise, Justice find a situation disturbingly similar to his own childhood (which culminated when he killed his abusive father).
