Uncle Scrooge & Donald Duck (Walt Disney’s…)

    (Gladstone, 1998)
™ and ©1998 Disney Enterprises, Inc.

Uncle Scrooge enjoyed perhaps the most successful career in comic books of any Disney character from the 1950s and 1960s, due in large measure to the genius of artist and writer Carl Barks. In the 1980s, Barks’s greatest disciple, Don Rosa, began his own classic run on the Uncle Scrooge, elaborating on the Duck mythos, developing the cast of characters, and spinning new tales of high adventure, mystery, and science fiction that perfectly capture the magical spirit of the originals. Gladstone began reprinting Rosa’s first efforts from the 1980s in this new series from 1998. Donald, his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and the whole Duckville gang are here in beautiful full-length, full-color stories.
