Heroman

    (Dimension, 1986)
™ and ©1986 Ken Jones and John Cummins

Louis Oak Riley is a dull, ordinary guy. Let’s examine the facts: he drinks beer, doesn’t have a clue at his dead-end job and is separated from his wife. Guess what happens when a Joe Punchclock kind of guy like Louis has a chance albeit painful encounter with extra-terrestrials? The Brunswickians give him great power and a matching uniform. Be prepared to duck since the satiric barbs fly fast and furious in this book. Familiar targets range from the Superman legend to a certain magic kingdom. Of course Louis understands with great power comes great responsibility—sort of. Louis considers his responsibility to be drinking cold beer, dating the opposite sex and enjoying extended vacations in exotic locales. Okay, so he’s not exactly your friendly neighborhood web-slinger either.
