JLA Secret Files

    (DC, 1997-2000)
™ and ©1998 DC Comics, Inc.

With the publication of JLA, a back-to-the-basics title featuring DC’s big guns (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman) as the prominent members of the team, DC’s editors needed clarify the history of this venerable title. Since the time of the Crisis on Infinite Earths, which essentially rewrote the history of the DC Universe, the status and continuity of the Justice League of America has been in an almost constant state of flux. This Secret Files title attempts to clarify and highlight the most important events of the League’s history. Like other books of this sort, it features a series of concise biographies of the members as well as a fresh look at the League’s origin with the retelling of their encounter with Starro the Conqueror. Especially significant is a Justice League timeline outlining the various lineups.
