Gerry Alan is an actor on a fantasy-based television series called “Stone.” As the title character, Alan uses magical gems called “the Agimats” to take on all the mystical threats that the special effects department can dream up. Things change for Alan when he discovers that the Agimats are real, that they possess unlimited power, and that an evil, other-dimensional prince named Jenaidon wants them back. What’s an actor to do against a being of such power? Well, at first, not much; his imaginary friend Rook and one of Jenaidon’s turncoat lackeys manage to save him from certain death, but matters are far from settled.

An intriguing premise and some beautiful artwork from Whilce Portacio (Wetworks, X-Factor) and his Avalon Studios imprint.
