The Argonauts (Eternity)

Borrowing their name from the mythological heroes who fought alongside Jason, the Argonauts are adventurers who work for an enigmatic benefactor named John Raynor. Their mission is to prevent the equally mysterious Director and his cadre of agents from engineering a worldwide nuclear war. Reminiscent of both Challengers of the Unknown and the Secret Six, Raynor’s Argonauts are experts in their fields—Sarah Kenning, mathematician; Kyle Pendicoe, pilot; Ben Stryde, former spy; Morgan Lockwood, special effects wizard; and Hardy James, administrator—and each investigation tests their skills and puts them closer to ending the Director’s Machiavellian plan. This is compelling stuff from Bill Spangler and Patrick Oliffe (Untold Tales of Spider-Man, Spider-Girl).
