Homer, the Happy Ghost (Vol. 1)

Formerly The Adventures of Homer Ghost, the runaway success of Harvey’s Casper the Friendly Ghost series prompted Marvel (Atlas) to produce their version of a “nice” ghost. The most remarkable feature of this series was the artwork by the always outstanding Dan DeCarlo, best known for his work on Archie’s Betty and Veronica series. Here, the Homer series is played mainly for laughs rather than in the case of Casper, who is always in search of a friend. The series was revived again in 1969 with Homer, the Happy Ghost (Vol. 2).
