This giveaway flyer previews Wildstorm Productions and Awesome Entertainment creators Jim Lee and Rob Liefeld’s spin on some classic Marvel Comics properties: the Fantastic Four, Captain America, Iron Man, and the Avengers. There’s preview art from all four of the Heroes Reborn series, and interviews with both Lee and Liefeld in which we learn that the FF’s origins “need to change and be treated a little differently [for today’s fans]” and that the mission with the Avengers is “to restore this stuff to being the best super-heroes in the Marvel Universe.” Of course, as most comics fans know, all of the heroes returned to the Marvel Universe proper after thirteen issues of the Lee-and Liefeld-produced series in the four-issue limited series Heroes Reborn: The Return.
