There’s a new hero in the Marvel Universe. A new mutant, perhaps? Nope, just a regular kid, Gus Beezer, whose only power is that he has a big imagination. This collection features tales told by a young boy, who has the good fortune—or delusions—of partnering up with Spider-Man, the Hulk, and the Fantastic Four. Frequently these pairings occur after Gus has had a run-in with a bully, or his sister, or someone who simply doesn’t realize how important Gus is. Fortunately for the world, and for Gus, no matter the foe, everything turns out okay in the end.

This wildly offbeat title collects four different Gus Beezer adventures. Each of the four is hokey, goofy, and lightweight—both in writing and breezy art style. The collection was an exclusive carried in Target stores.
