Dark Horse’s Terminator series begins where the blockbuster movie leaves off. In the future world of 2029, mankind has all but won the battle against the machines. But even with their defense grid smashed, SkyNet refuses to give up. So it is that a squad of brave soldiers fight their way into a SkyNet time displacement building to go back into the past and finish the war—before it even starts.

Five of the soldiers jump back in time to 1990s’ Los Angeles, while another soldier stays behind to smash the equipment. But before he can do that, he is ambushed by three new terminators. These cold cyborgs torture him into revealing the soldiers’ mission, then jump back in time themselves. Now our era is about to explode as these forces from the future fight a deadly battle in our present.
