This four-issue mini-series starts a new chapter in the adventures of the Inmates, a group of teenage super-heroes given their powers by a powerful madman named the Fanatic. The Inmates—Pebble, Torrent, Sidekick, and Adrenalin—have avoided the Fanatic’s forces so far, but Scankdog, their guide, decides to disband the group so they can return to their ordinary lives. The Fanatic is soon after them again, though, and they must return to action. As a standard super-hero comic, the series is surprisingly well-written.
