Paul Makor is a former “company man” (CIA agent) who now works as a freelance troubleshooter in the world’s hot spots. To help him out, he has a large selection of special operatives to choose from. He selects the team and the abilities he needs as each situation demands.

Kicking off this action-packed series, Makor takes on what seems like a case unworthy of his abilities: a missing child. But this is hardly an ordinary kidnapping. The child has been taken by a man named Deathshead, an ex-Nazi responsible for the murder of thousands of people during the war. To save the kid, Makor enlists the aid of Shadowhand, a Ninja; Hi-Tek, a man who can channel his own life energy into explosive force; and La Femme, a very interesting heroine who can briefly assume the abilities of anyone she meets…but her powers derive from her sexuality, and they only function if she remains celibate!
