They say history repeats itself, but in this series, an unexplained occurrence has forged an alternate timeline in which history isn't repeating so much as occurring at the same time. The result is a world in which figures throughout history co-exist and interact, including Mata Hari (a beautiful spy), Billy the Kid (a robotic gunslinger), and Mark Twain (a dashing hero). Dinosaurs populate the circus, the German Empire rules America, and explorers in search of the North Pole discover strange machines frozen in the ice. The time is out of joint, and it might take an entire rebel force— composed of diverse personalities like the above—to set it right.
Set at the end of the 19th century but drawing from people and events throughout recorded time, this imaginative series maintains a whimsical tone in both words (F.G. Haghenbeck) and pictures (Carlo Barberi).
