Interstellar Overdrive

™ and ©1991 Leonine

The hero’s name is Wayne. He’s got a sidekick named Elvin (who looks like an alien that came from either the classic Lost In Space TV show or the classic Outer Limits TV show—or perhaps a cross of the two—you decide). Together, they travel in a Studebaker 1327si flying saucer which was provided by the owner of a space station who desires only to capitalize on Wayne’s wonderful way of dramatically disposing of dastardly dragon-men (an event which caused a media stir and consequently brought more attention to his businesses at the space station).

So now Wayne is playing official spacehero and is zipping through the galaxy ready to do good deeds—just so long as the good deed involves rescuing buxom babes from nasty BEMs, an acronym for bug-eyed monsters.

This title was launched in 1990, but disappeared into the void soon after—alas, such is the fate of a spacehero sometimes.
