Lobocop
(DC)
DC, a parody of Robocop™ Orion Pictures Corporation
They thought Robocop was bad. They thought Lobo was bad. Apparently DC comics felt that a parody wherein Lobo became Robocop would be the baddest thing on the block.
A one-shot special, Lobocop tells of how the Main Man literally parties himself to death, then has his brain transplanted into a deadly titanium body to become a mechanized police officer. As Lobocop, he has the ability to rain deadly and excessive firepower upon any criminals he encounters (as if Lobo ever needed any encouragement). One other problem, though: the fiends who programmed him (through Lobo’s need for heavy metal music) gave Lobocop orders to eliminate everyone in old Detroit. That way, they could buy up the vacant space for a song and turn it into a parking lot. But if they think controlling a transplanted brain as demented as Lobo’s is going to be that easy, they’re in for a nasty surprise.
