The League of Champions

The League of Champions is a team of super-powered heroes that serve to protect the innocent. The team includes Icestar, Icicle, Rose, Flare, the Huntsman and more. Their powers range from Icestar’s cold-based power to Rose’s knowledge of the mystic arts.

The title has a different feel to it than most super-group books, notably in that not everything in this series happens perfectly. Problems range from babies having to be taken care of to the fact that some members in the team don’t even like each other. People, even members of the League, sometimes end up getting injured or killed. The relative realism of this this series means that by book’s end, the characters are not necessarily happy and cheerful, and conflicts are not always resolved.

The League of Champions is a continuation of Champions (Hero), with its first issue following Champions #12.
