Hot Stuff Sizzlers had a pretty healthy run when it was first issued, so it was only natural that the series would eventually make a comeback. Unfortunately, this series didn’t garner even a hint of the success that the former one did. This was due to the fact that, at the time, Harvey was in the habit of issuing dozens of “#1” issues all at the same time with no regard for logic or marketing. As such, this second series got lost in the shuffle and was aborted after a single issue.
