Yo Hinomura was a brilliant young potter, Emu Hino was a beautiful, lonely painter. Their lives were forever changed by the Chinese Mafia known as the 108 Dragons. He was unwillingly recruited to be their premier assassin, Crying Freeman. She witnessed one of his murders. Now she knows she is next!

This story is a compelling tale of crime and police politics, double crosses, deals with the devil, and the young couple who must determine what the price is of their love.

Ryoichi Ikegami is known for his lifelike style of drawing. He has also worked on Sanctuary, and Mai-The Psychic Girl, among others. Writer, Kazuo Koike, authored many other works, including Lone Wolf and Cub. He also has a renowned manga artist school which produced Lum-Urusei Yatsura creator, Rumiko Takahashi, and Fist of the North Star artist, Tetsuo Hara.
