Fayetteville, North Carolina’s Brainstorm Comics made a splash in 1995 with sexy, violent vampire comics such as Vamperotica and Vampress Luxura. Flesh & Blood, released in December of 1995, was meant to continue that trend.

“Flesh” is a woman named Jennifer who seems to be something of a vampire groupie. She has great wealth, but longs for the vampire Delnor Blood. Blood finds her annoying, but that doesn’t stop them from teaming up together when rival vampire Vlad Tempest comes hunting for him. Unfortunately, the series never developed past this, since the promised second issue failed to arrive a year after the initial release.
