Renowned science fiction novelist Kevin J. Anderson takes a crack at the DC Universe in this mini-series starring the world's first super–team. Set during the Golden Age, Strange Adventures begins when good–hearted but fumbling Johnny Thunder decides to become a pulp writer by chronicling the adventures of the JSA. Taken under the writing wing of legendary real–life science–fiction Grand Master Jack Williamson, Johnny tries his best to become a respectable writer. But when the deadly villain Lord Dynamo menaces the city with his zeppelin crewed by cybernetic zombies, it's up to Johnny and Jack to help Hawkman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Starman, Dr. Mid-Nite, Sandman and the rest of the JSA save the day.
