Go Dae Hay, an expert in various martial arts, is a Korean-American teenager who recently lost his father to cancer. Shannon Slade, a new student who recently moved from Hong Kong captures Go’s heart. Her father was transferred from the Far East by his company, SMK Industries, which has security measures on a par with the Pentagon. A whistle-blower within that company named John Henderson has placed himself in jeopardy to get information to Go regarding his company’s new project.

This digest-sized book is an ambitious effort published by Truth Comics that uses standard comic narrative to warn their readers of the hazards of tobacco. Unlike most stories that proselytize, the message is masked by the trappings of a standard comic story, There is the forthright upstanding hero who endures a tragic event and a villain that is connected to the hero’s tragedy. It requires some investigation to determine the precise nature of the evil corporation’s product.
