Hercules Unbound

    (DC, 1975-1977)
DC

For a thousand years, Hercules has been bound by magic and chains on a hidden island off the coast of Greece. Then four weeks after World War III, he finds his spell suddenly broken. What new designs did Ares, who had bound him there, have planned for him now?

Within days, Hercules had his answer. The god of war was once again on the Earth, glorying in the destruction he has caused. Trapped by radioactive fallout, large numbers of men have become hideous monsters, and the only organized armies are being tricked into pointlessly slaughtering each other. Into this apocalyptic world steps Hercules, the greatest champion of mythology. But can even this legendary hero save a world gone mad?
