Capt. Storm

World War II saw the debut of a new type of naval weapon: the patrol torpedo, or P.T. boat. These fast-moving craft were nicknamed “mosquito boats” after the way they swooped in on an enemy at high speed, stung it with torpedoes and deck gun fire, then sped away. The term was also appropriate as a single swat by a plane or ship was often all that was required to sink these fragile craft.

Commanding a P.T. boat required daring and nerves of steel, qualities found in Capt. Storm, the star of this title. Although previous battles left him with a wooden leg, he never misses a chance to join in the fray, using his P.T. boat to take on Japanese ships and submarines.

In addition to his appearances with this title, Capt. Storm is known as a member of the ill-fated team of fighters known as the Losers.
