Boston Brand, Jr. has it all: a career as a famous private investigator, a great car, a beautiful wife and kids, the whole deal… no, wait, back up. That was dad, B.B. SENIOR. Looks like Junior’s been fantasizing, again. In reality, Boston Junior lives with his grandma, rides a scooter, is chronically unemployed, and loves a girl who barely knows he exists.

But dad didn’t raise his boy to be a quitter. That’s why, when he witnesses an explosion, Boston is the first on the scene, racing into the burning building without a care for his own safety. That’s a decision he might (fortunately) live to regret, as it’s also how he ends up involved in a dangerous game of genetic engineering and scientific intrigue, not to mention the reluctant bodyguard to a small but definitely intelligent talking pig.
