An alien would-be conqueror picks the wrong house from which to begin his assault on Earth, landing in the backyard of the young girl known as Little Gloomy. How do you scare someone who spends her entire life under threat of pain and death? “Frank,” who could also be called Little Frankenstein, tries to take revenge on his tormentors—only to invent a brand new problem. And, a nerdy alien lies to his family about conquering Earth… only to find he’s going to have to turn the lie into the truth.

This title presents a collection of short stories featuring the deadpan humor of Little Gloomy and her various friends and foes. Landry Quinn Walker and Eric Jones collaborate on each black and white adventure, in which quirky art (sort of like an evil Peanuts) and sharp wit abound.
