Ha Ha Comics was another in the seemingly endless assortment of undistinguished funny animal comics that brought cheer and good-natured humor to the lives of kids during the Golden Age. The mainstays in Ha Ha were Izzy and Dizzy, a pair of twin troublemaking mice; the Impulsive Imps, who cavorted around an Alice-in-Wonderland fantasy world; Robespier, a scrappy alley cat; and Daniel Spaniel, who led a dog’s life in the back pages of the book. The cast provided satisfactory laughs and entertainment in the typical funny-animal style, benefiting from competent drawing and big, bold colorful layouts.
