Super-hero/psychiatrist Doc Samson first appeared in Incredible Hulk #141. Doctor Len Samson irradiated himself with gamma ray energy he drained from the Hulk. The experiment resulted in turning the meek Samson into a super-strong, green-haired superbeing.

In this four-issue series, Doc Samson and female super-hero Geiger fight Patchwork, a gamma-powered villain who uses the bodies of his victims for his own devilish needs. The Punisher and She-Hulk make a guest appearances. This series came out in 1996 under Marvel’s action-oriented “Marvel Edge” line.
